MathWallet formed partnership with MonetaDigital to boost growth in Mexican market
MathWallet and MonetaDigital reached a strategic partnership to promote stablecoin ecosystem growth together. Users can now use MMXN to make transfers and store their MMXN token easily and safely in MathWallet on both ERC-20 and TRC-20. Also, MathWallet will support MMXN in Math’s DApp store.
We have seen that stablecoins have grown in their importance and adoption, it’s become important to be able to use fiat pegged stablecoins for trading and payment etc. A price-stable currency such as MXN (and similar stable currencies such as USD) is critical for enabling mainstream adoption of blockchain technology to store, buy, sell, trade and pay, as well as to support other use cases that are built on smart contract platforms, such as DeFi applications and other financial services, etc.
MMXN is the first Mexican Pesos (MXN) stablecoin provided fully collateralized, and 100% backed by Moneta Digital’s fiat reserves. The blockchain technology behind Moneta Digital makes it possible to exchange stable digital value between people, businesses and financial institutions. MMXN tokens are redeemable and exchangeable pursuant to Moneta’s terms of service. The conversion rate is set to 1 MMXN : 1 MXN. MMXN is built on open source blockchain frameworks such as Ethereum and Tron giving MMXN an added layer of security and efficiency. With all the benefits MMXN brings, MMXN is aimed to become an important component for the global financial ecosystem.
About Moneta Digital
Moneta was created to help millions of Mexican users to solve the fiat on/off ramp needs to the cryptocurrency space. To fill the gap between fiat and crypto, MMXN was designed and developed as a digital stablecoin that are pegged 1:1 to Mexican Pesos so users can intuitively understand the concept between stablecoin and Mexican Pesos fiat, as well as store a stable value in cryptocurrency without exiting to fiat.
